Reading & Reacting: Finding Supermen and Women

From Nicholas Ferroni @ huffingtonpost.com

This summer is truly the summer of the “Attack on Teachers and Education.” Nationwide, politicians, supposed experts and corporations are forcing states to adopt horrible policies for their profit…

This has got to be one of coolest ideas I have seen. What a wonderfully proactive form of resistance. It is positive and celebratory of what is good, rather than focusing on what is wrong. So simple, yet so powerful.

Take just two minutes, literally, and record a video about the teacher (or teachers) who truly changed your life.

For every teacher that asks what they can do when encountering all the bad news, this will be the first step I suggest. Now, I am thinking about how I am going to go about making my own. I might need to make a few. If only I could include the teachers too.<>/p
